Abstract
Regency this research aims to develop learning media for Islamic Religion Education based on Google Sites for seventh-grade one students at SMP N 2 Situjuah Gadang. The background of this research is rooted in the low interest in learning among students regarding the material of Islamic Cultural History (SKI) due to the narrative and text-heavy nature of the SKI material, as well as the lack of variety in material delivery and the absence of supportive learning media, not to mention the inadequate use of interactive digital media. The development model used is the ADDIE model, which includes five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The developed learning media focuses on the material "Andalusia, the City of Islamic Civilization in the West" and is organized in the form of an interactive website that includes learning objectives, materials, learning videos, and exercises. Validation was conducted by eight validators consisting of three media experts, three content experts, and two language experts. The validation results show that the Google Sites-based learning media received a validity score of 0.768 (valid category) from the media experts, 0.879 (valid category) from the content experts, and 0.652 (valid category) from the language experts. The trials on practicality and effectiveness with students also showed excellent results, with percentages of 89.047% and 83.2%, respectively. Based on these results, the Google Sites-based learning media is declared feasible, practical, and effective for use in the PAI learning process, and capable of enhancing students' interest and understanding of SKI material.
