Abstract
This research was due to discovering match and mismatch of Teacher's Lesson Plan the Tenth Grade of MTI Pasia in Academic Years 2020/2021. It has been done at MTI Pasia and lesson plans made by the English teacher at MTI Pasia refferring to curriculum 2013. The researcher found some problem, The first problem was limited time during covid-19 pandemic. The teacher was difficult in understanding the formulation of standard of competency and basic competency, in determining instrument for assessment and its rubric to be relevant with the indicators, and in selecting effective methods to be appropriate with the indicators and the teacher did not use media or other learning tools in the class when they teach the students. So, it made the class monotonous and boring. No visualization could make students less enthusiastic in the learning process. This research used descriptive qualitative research. The research was conducted at MTI Pasia in the academic year of 2020/2022. The subject of the research was MTI Pasia. The instrument wasobservation sheet and docoumention about componen teacher’s lesson plan. The result shows that the researcher expectation of all lesson plans made by an English teacher is not actually fulfilling the standard of curriculum 2013 although the lesson plans developed by English teacher at the first semester of MTI Pasia academic year 2020/2021 enterely consisted of nine component.The researcher can conclude from findings and theory that teacher’s lesson plan is match condition, It can be proventhat 3 conditions match (IdentityofLessonPlan, the objectives of study and method of study), 3 less match (Score competence, basic competence and Indicator of competence achievement and the material of study) and 3 mismatch (Media, tools, and sources of study, the steps of teaching or teaching activity and Assessments) related to teacher’s lesson plan component.
